The Bruno Bernard Estate is both glamorously nostalgic and very “next century.” The architectural pedigree was lovingly preserved when the property was completely remodeled this year. New kitchen and baths, high speed internet access, flat screen televisions and an ultra modern climate control system. The owners have combined classic architecture, mid century style and modern-day comfort to create a spectacular luxury vacation home in true Palm Springs-style.

THE OUTDOOR SPACES

Breathtaking are the views from this back yard. This is the best you will find here in the desert. The entire estate is completely enclosed for privacy. Once inside the gates, you will feel as though you have wandered into an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The backyard is very Palm Springs-chic with breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains. A grand pool and large hot tub is where you will spend most of your days and nights! Lounge poolside in the full sun, enjoy sun sets over the stunning mountain views, followed by long nights sipping martini’s with your travel companions.

THE LIVING SPACES

Built as a celebrity desert escape, this home has a luxurious open floor plan that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living. The great room provides an impressive yet welcoming space to spend time with your entire group. You’ll find inside dining for 6, a fireside lounging area with plenty of seating and a flat screen television. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Floor to ceiling windows and sliders reveal the panoramic views of the mountains, pool & yard that looks as though it was ripped from the pages of Architectural Digest.

THE SLEEPING QUARTERS

Like an upscale boutique hotel, all of the 3 king bedrooms feature High end linens, hospitality-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions and ample storage. Each room is flooded with light, high ceilings and a mid century flair.

A PART OF PALM SPRINGS HISTORY

This private estate was the home of photographer Bruno Bernard.

Bruno Bernard started it all for Marilyn Monroe here in Palm Springs in introducing her photographs to Johnny Hyde the vice president of the William Morris Agency. From there a star was born. Bernard’s most famous photograph of Marilyn was taken on the set of the 1954 movie “The Seven-Year Itch” in a white halter dress with a billowing pleated skirt. Bernard earned himself a place in Palm Springs and Hollywood History by photographing and building the careers of many starlets .

Today, Leonardo DiCaprio owns property in the neighborhood as do some of the biggest stars of television today.

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy.

Optional pool and spa heat is available at an additional cost of $69 nightly or $345 weekly. Pool and spa heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the spa to 102 degrees. Spa heat only is available at $25 nightly. (During hot summer months, spa heat only can be enabled at no additional charge. These months include July, August, September)
