 This home was built in 1960 by the famous Alexander Construction Company with renowned architect William Krisel. Then in 2014 the current owner under the stewardship of Hollywood Production Designer and Emmy nominee Douglas Kraner had the home lovingly modernized while preserving it's mid-century signature looks and features. 

Step into a world of style and sophistication as you enter this architectural gem with a large pool and spa as the centerpiece of the private 12,000 square foot walled and hedged yard. Enjoy the incredible mountain vistas and when the sun dips behind the mountain peaks gather around one of the two outdoor fire pits that create an intimate ambiance for memorable evenings with friends and family. Each evening the hedges, cacti and palm trees are beautifully lit as additional architectural features.

 Take a break from the sun and unwind in the covered lounge area, ideal for sipping evening cocktails and soaking in the beauty of the meticulously landscaped gardens, lawns and enchanting surroundings. Then, indulge your culinary desires with the natural gas barbecue grill, where you can sizzle up delicious meals al fresco. 
 
With three spacious bedrooms  ( 2 Cali-king, 1 Queen), two full bathrooms plus the private outdoor shower this retreat offers comfort and convenience for up to six guests. Each room is thoughtfully designed to provide a restful sanctuary including quality mattresses, bedding and linens.

This home is not a typical rental property but a private residence of the current owner featuring original works of art and furnished with the perfect mix of modern and mid-century furniture and decor. 



Being a Good Vacation Rental Neighbor:

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway. In order to keep the tranquility of the community, we ask that you be respectful and mindful of your neighbors while on vacation. These homeowners have made this home available to share with responsible groups that will treat the home and neighborhood with respect.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy.

Friendly Reminder: Optional pool and spa heat is available at an additional cost of $79 nightly or $395 weekly. Pool and spa heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the spa to 102 degrees. Spa heat only is available at $25 nightly. (During hot summer months, spa heat only can be enabled at no additional charge. These months include July, August, September)
